Fruit Snack

Thinking of children when it comes to food storage is important. It is fun for them to have special snacks and can take their mind off of a stressful situation. It is also much less to make snacks than to buy snacks.
My boys love fruit snacks. These are so good. I poured them into mini muffin tins. I also poured them into a rimmed pan and used cookie cutters to cut them after they had set. All ingredients store well and would be a great food storage recipe.

Fruit Snack

2 cups fruit juice
10 packages unflavored gelatin
1 cup sugar

Combine ingredients. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar and gelatin are dissolved. Pour into molds. Let cool.

My boys love this! They are so expensive to buy, so this recipe works really well.
